Terms of Service
Last updated: March 20, 2026
1. Agreement
By accessing or using Disclose (disclose.trade), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We may update these terms at any time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. The Service
Disclose aggregates publicly available congressional financial disclosure filings and presents them in a searchable format with price data, analytics, and alerts. We are an information platform, not a financial advisor.
3. Not Financial Advice
Important disclaimer
Nothing on Disclose constitutes investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security. Congressional trade data is presented for informational and educational purposes only. Past trading activity does not predict future results. Always do your own research and consult a licensed financial advisor before making investment decisions.

5. Subscription Plans

Features and pricing are subject to change. Existing subscribers will be notified before any changes to their active plan.
6. Billing & Cancellation
- Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe.
- Plus plans include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends.

- If payment fails, your account may be downgraded to the Free tier after a grace period.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download data beyond normal API usage limits.
- Redistribute Disclose data as a competing product or dataset.
- Attempt to circumvent access controls, authentication, or plan restrictions.
- Use the service for any illegal purpose.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
Violation may result in immediate account termination without refund.
8. Data Accuracy
We source data from official congressional disclosure filings and public market data providers. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all data is error-free, complete, or up-to-date. Filings may contain errors made by the filers themselves. Price data may be delayed or unavailable for certain securities.
9. Intellectual Property
The Disclose brand, design, code, and original analysis are our intellectual property. Congressional disclosure data itself is in the public domain. You may share individual data points with attribution but may not systematically reproduce the platform.
10. Limitation of Liability
Disclose is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any investment losses, missed trades, data inaccuracies, service interruptions, or any other damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding a claim.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your personal data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.
